From California to Canada, Australia to Alaska—we’ve got Me.dium users all over the world! Every day the community team and I get to talk to fascinating people spanning across the globe.

We thought it would be awesome to be able to map out where y’all are from. This way we can get a visualization of what cities are the most populated with users, who comes from where, and be able to literally watch as Me.dium spreads like wildfire!

2) You will see the Me.dium User Map! Just type in your city and click add

3) That’s it! Your city is marked with a push pin! Watch as pins pop up all over the place!

It’s that time of year again. College pride grows strong, the elusive perfect bracket is sought after, Cinderellas and Juggernauts experience the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat, and fans get to talk trash and watch basketball 24/7. It’s time for NCAA® March Madness®  2008!!

If only there was a way to watch the tournament with your friends and alumni from colleges across the country….Oh wait, there is. Me.dium + NCAA® March Madness® on Demand + every sports blog, forum, and news site = the greatest possible March Madness experience. Ever.

So, in case you missed it, Me.dium announced compatibility with the Songbird Media Player pretty recently.  In light of all the other stuff we had been cranking on, like IE 8 Beta and Firefox 3.0 Beta compatibility, Songbird might not initially appear that it would be a huge priority for us, but whenever you get a passionate community really asking you to do something for them, well, you just pull out all the stops to make sure you get it to them.  Besides…Songbird Rocks!!!

A ways back, the Songbird community voted Me.dium to be one of the 40 most rockin’ extensions they wanted to see ported over for Songbird. So, we of course obliged.  Well, as a result, we just learned that they also just voted Me.dium to one of their Top 3!!!!!  Woot!
